"TextNow is the worst company when it…"
TextNow is the worst company when it comes to customer service. TextNow cancelled my subscription for no reason and did not refund the ad+ subscription as the subscription was taken out just a few days before cancellation. I had a hard time contacting them but finally I found their chat site. Totally unhelpful. They told me that Apple will refund the charges when I contacted Apple they told me that TextNow needs to refund it.
"Worst customer support"
TextNow cancelled my subscription for no reason and on top of it failed to reimburse the subscription fee. Customer support is so poor and unsupportive to the limits. You cannot expect anything helpful from them

"I was paying for the TEXT NOW number…"
I was paying for the TEXT NOW number and I delevloped my client base on this number....they just stopped my number without even sending me any kind of notice and directly I stopped my number....I would suggest you guys to go for TEXT ME OR TEXT PLUS app as they run business very genuinely and they care for their users..( specially paid users), TEXT NOW will stop your number any time without sending you any prior notice and you won't be able to even recover your all data from that app.....please don't use TEXT NOW if you don't wanna suffer ....they wont even help you when u chat with their client support...very ridiculous platform...go for TEXT PLUS OR TEXT ME app they runs well and they will never stop your number.

"Very sleezy support staff"
What a nightmare. So I deleted a google email address. Then I discovered after that it was used to login to textnow. An oversight. Simple to fix right? Think again. Textnow has my name, my credit card but are simply too lazy or perhaps too mean to assist me. So no access to my number. And they are scheduled to charge me on July 13 to lock in my number. The one I cannot access. Be very careful with this company. I made a mistake doing business with them. Don't make this mistake. There are legit businesses on the net. This is not one of them.

"can't login"
Well I deleted an email address (google) and guess what? that was the one used to login to textnow.... i have attempted to explain this mistake to their customer service twice. they simply tell me i must change the email address on my end. i cannot.... a verification code is sent to the deleted email... just an email change should not cause so many headaches

"Buggy"
Messages won't be stored last 3 months. I was talking to people over a year but all those conversations are deleted. Even if I log onto my account from a desktop, it's still gone.
I can't send or receive calls or send and receive texts from my most frequent contact.
Text messages show up in my notifications but when I go to click on the message it's gone. It could never be retrieved.

"Falsely accused of spam and fraud for using the network on Wi-Fi at night properly on a paid subscri"
This company is probably the worst application I've dealt with in over 10 years of using Android/I paid to have minimized ads for a couple of years sometimes even paid 20 a month/recently I paid $8 a month to lock in a number and have minimized ads... I ordered a free SIM card to put on a second phone but I had not used the cellular system yet I was using it on Wi-Fi because the app was versatile for a Wi-Fi or data app... And it stayed open on multiple devices...
I was shocked that suddenly it logged out and said there was a violation and I needed to log back in and they never said that email so I had to wait till they opened up 10:00 eastern Time or 7:00 California time to chat with them
When I did chat with them a lady named Kirsten fixed the situation and said can you log in now I said yes
Then after I was done I sent one message and it shut me down and said that I was now not being given that one chance (which really didn't involve any kind of a chance at all because after all I was not sending advertisements or spam or committing any fraud I was merely texting people that already knew me for many years... My account was in my real name paid for through my Google Play store on my credit card)... When it shut down like this and said that it can't be easily recovered and basically the data was lost cuz I had not downloaded the strings... Chatted with a Marcus who dealt with some rude department that came back and said that they had found fraud in fact significant fraud all over the place and it shouldn't have been reopened and it's substantial fraud and it is permanently closed and I've lost my data!
People are breaching contracts where I've paid for this service there's no fraud I use my real name I'm not a fraudster everybody on there where people that knew me there's no money exchange and after all if they can't read your messages without a warrant how could they even determine such a thing going on without external law enforcement complaints? And obviously there were no complaints because it was recoverable at first and that's how it came up but now all the sudden he's saying there was so much substantial fraud it shouldn't have even been recoverable it should have been shut down / then why did that not happen so long and how did this recoverable option come up?
Never been so falsely accused of anything by a tech company it's all utter rubbish I have copies of everything the people I wrote to have copies of everything there is no fraud they're making up stuff because of the amount of messaging I send and they're worried about the 5G Network being used but I was using my Wi-Fi 6
I'm trying to bump people off that do a lot of texting though there's no limit showed on there they have some other ulterior motive /they are frauds and liars these people and they breach contracts cuz they think you're a small person that can't do anything since you're using this service
Absolutely nothing fraudulent illegal and that's why Christian immediately reinstated it and it was not due to fraud it was saying spam and then they're saying fraud all over the place and just making up stuff it is really really insulting I mean I lost my cool it was 8 in the morning California time and I didn't sleep that whole night in the end
It is now noon and I'm typing this or it's one in the afternoon and I still haven't slept I'm just so shocked that this company could be that callus and treat people as so trivial
They don't think people could Target them with the story and negative media they don't think somebody in the Bay area could get hundreds of thousands of people to look at this company differently?
I just can't believe they would do something that dirty and destroy my data and it has everything to do with the amount of usage but it's all my Wi-Fi but still it's using their Network and they're not really honest about that
How is it I've never heard about this for 2 years I've had that?
Computer still come up with this many errors as far as spam and then fraud and where would they see fraud if there's not even a discussion of money on any of the text messages there's no money exchange they're all people that I know that could identify me!
People are outrageous and they should be sued for breach of contract that should be exposed for what they're doing nobody should buy this product nobody should buy the monthly anything though it does appeal to lower income people they are very abusive and very dishonest!
Should be hit with a fight by the FTC and they should get sued for breach of contract on there I have every right to use that I can't just be falsely accused of fraud there is no fraud there's not a single iota of it it's an unbelievable false allegation they're using for some other reason...
Submitted an appeal but I don't have much hope for any positive result because it's outlandish what they're claiming it's it's unbelievable and impossible because the content of the text don't have anything like that I'm using my real name the people I'm writing to are friends or family or business associates for several years or more
It's a complete lie and it disturbs me how they think the users of this app are not legally connected or don't know how to handle them or can't influence the public

Used them for about 5 years, doing browser-only (no app) calls and texts for $10/mo. Generally worked ok until last month when my number disappeared. I can still log in but the first thing it wants is for you to select a new number

"Text now"
Very stupid. They updated it and now it's just bad and terrible and awful and frustrating. I had for a while before and it pretty good. But that years ago. Now is updated and bad. It doesn't even let me login or make an account and none of the buttons work. I don't know anything after that because it won't let me in. Also, I was doing that I was trying to call somebody in an important situation. But who cares. *sigh*

"I am appalled"
It was great at first, I could text and call at my own disposal, but ever since last Friday I haven't been able to use the app at all in the way it's intended to. I can't sign in properly. I can't open the app in the app store without my computer having problems. Tried the ole turn off and turn back on with the laptop and same with the wifi. Everything else works fine so I know this app is the issue. Do not use unless it's a last resort.
